This paper reports on an on-going project that compares first and second language acquisition of Swedish syntax. The first language acquisition group includes both normally developing and specifically language impaired (SLI) children; the second language acquisition group involves pre-school immigrant children. According to the results, there are no vital differences between first and second language syntax acquisition.
