Annotation

This study explores the phenomenon of the therapeutic ‘time-out’ parentcraft technique, employed to discipline misbehaving young children, as portrayed in the British reality television series 'The House of Tiny Tearaways', drawing, amongst others, on mediated discourse and conversation analysis. It focuses on the accomplishment of temporal and spatial restraint practices that encompass embodied (inter)action, and the domestic sphere's lived architecture.
