Annotation

This cross-cultural text analytic study explores how English and Korean newspapers manipulate the use of 1st and 2nd person plural pronouns in science popularizations. The revealed quantitative and qualitative differences are attributed, amongst others, to syntactic dissimilarities, the different socio-cultural contexts and the varying contributions of science to the countries' economy.
