This study uses data from telephone and face-to-face interaction between immigrant adolescent and young women of Turkish descendence living in Berlin, to describe some specific syntactic and prosodic structures of the ‘Türkendeutsch’ speech style, employed in particular turn-constructional units for several conversational tasks.
