This paper empirically verifies (intercorrelations between) the three laughter-related concepts of gelotophobia (fear of being laughed at), gelotophilia (the joy of being laughed at) and katagelasticism (the joy of laughing at others), and, in the case of the former, the impact of remembered negative experiences.
