Annotation

This study examines bilingual Turkish-German second-generation immigrant urban adolescent usage of German as a school language or ‘Schriftsprache’. The focus lies on linguistic and communicative resource use in written material from formal and informal social contexts, a comparison of oral and written discourse procedures, and the reconstruction of linguistic choices' discursive or social functions.
