Annotation

This study demonstrates that child exposure to violent television content is positively linked to a preference for authority-based moral reasoning on interpersonal violence and approval-oriented reasoning on prosocial dilemmas. Non-violent television viewing on the other hand is positively linked to a preference for perspective-based moral reasoning. These results support a mental model perspective.
