This study focuses on the intergenerational phonological change in the Turkish Cypriot dialect of Famagusta, a city in Northern Cyprus. The findings reveal sociolinguistic variation according to age and gender, and a potential long-term retrogression in Cypriot Turkish, favoring Standard Turkish.
