This study reviews perspectives on discourse as an aspect of globalization in academic literature; discusses different governmental and non-governmental globalization strategies and related discourses; examines how globalization processes affect spatial ‘entities’; addresses the media and mediation; explores people's ordinary globalization experience and its impact on their lives; and deals with war and terrorism.
