This study explores plurilinguals' representations of their strategic advantage for further language acquisition and use, the required sociolinguistic conditions for learners to consider their plurilingualism as a strategic resource in formal education, and the influence of third language acquisition at school on plurilingual repertoire construction and learners' representational evolution. The examined population involves young plurilingual secondary school and university students in France and Germany.
