Annotation
This study discusses the trilingual language policy and practice of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), which adopted English, French and Portuguese as its official languages, although English dominates in almost all the examined contexts. Given the lack of funding and the understaffing of its translation unit, it is problematic for the organisation to have its documents efficiently translated into the three official languages.
