This analysis of teacher-children interactions in 7 kindergarten classrooms in marginal urban neighborhoods of Buenos Aires (Argentina), enables to identify and describe the discursive strategies employed by teachers to reconceptualize children's information in ways that allow them to define underlying concepts.
