Annotation
This study focuses on parental ideology underpinning family languages policies of ten Chinese immigrant families in Quebec (Canada) concerning their children’s multilingual language and literacy education in Chinese, English, and French. Family language policies appear to be strongly affected by socio-political and economical factors, and parents’ educational background, cultural disposition and immigration experiences.
