This critical discourse analysis shows how Wal-Mart translates and crystallizes its version of hyperglobalization in annual reports (1972-2006), by rearticulating Samuel Walton, its dead leader. These corporate narratives of the dead leader are invoked and presented as polyphonic story by both people for and against Wal-Mart's hyperglobalization effects.
