Ford Motor Company of Europe's deployment of television in a pan-European setting, crafts a transnational corporate identity among its multi-national workforce. But whilst television can act as a unifying force, technology deployment also exacerbates tensions within the transnational entity as invoked by site-specific concerns, and the inherently propagandistic nature of the news may also invoke ironic reactions.
