This study employs an adjusted version of Christiane Nord's looping model for the framing of translating and editing processes involved in the adaptation of South African Press Association (Sapa) news agency texts for radio news, and especially for OFM, a South African bilingual commercial radio station, broadcasting to the Northern Cape, the Free State, and the North West and southern parts of Gauteng.
