Annotation
Drawing on Koerner and Fitzpatrick's general family communication theory, this study explores to what degree the three family communication environment dimensions of expressiveness, structural traditionalism, and conflict avoidance, are (positively or negatively) related to family strength and satisfaction. Only family expressiveness appears to be positively linked to family strength and satisfaction.
