As pentadic mapping allows to distinguish discursive ways of empowerment and transformation, this study applies this methodology to nonmanagerial women's maternity leave discourses. The discourses mainly (re)generate an organization-as-scene pentad promoting organizational motives. But alternative pentads offer opportunities for feminist transformation.
