Annotation

This study sets out to replicate a model of employee turnover that assumes that employees, more centrally positioned in their social network, are less prone to leave, and to assess a social support account of the centrality model. Friendship prestige, measured by amount of in-degree links, appears strongly linked to relational closeness and extent of time spent with colleagues outside the workplace.
