Annotation

This study demonstrates the usefulness of ecofeminism in conceiving the link between hegemonic masculinity threats (as illustrated by several television advertisements symbolically linking meat with the crisis in masculinity) and environmentalism (and animal rights movements), whilst also emphasizing the need for ecofeminism to pursue the effects of intersectionality for ecofeminist theory and criticism.
