This paper explores cultural identity (and exclusivity) constructions (via the mediums of cultural associations, clothing and traditional cuisine) in the testimonies of Cameroonian forced migrants in Johannesburg, as well as the forged process of cultural integration as survival mechanism (through the major integration signifier: intermarriage).
