Annotation

This article argues that black British women's drama (cfr. Jackie Kay, Jacqueline Rudet and Valerie-Mason John) draws upon the interrelation of sexuality, race, and social class based justice and that it can function as a 'postcolonial performativity' model, allowing to consider black sexualities' representations in postcolonial metropolis (and non-metropolitan postcolonial metaphorical black diasporic 'homes') literature, culture and society in relation to class concerns, sexualities vocabularies, and origins and belonging.
