Annotation

Drawing on linguistic/rhetorical analysis, Gestalt theory and Peirce's semiotics, and Dual Coding theory, this article presents a systematic account of the verbal-visual interaction on which Perelmanian presence depends, in order to propose a genealogy of presence.
