Challenging Western hegemony in child developmental psychology, this study argues that combining a(n undergraduate) multicultural classroom with a multicultural syllabus forces students to confront their own intellectual ethnocentrism, varies intellectual experiences and, for minority students, deals with a possibly not yet articulated intellectual lacuna.
