Annotation

In order to show how the specific discourse genre of informal teacher—student talk is co-accomplished, this paper describes and explores 'repair' features as they occur in turn sequences. Teachers can 'recipient-design' their interaction so as to give students in the next turn 'easy' chances for employing the language they know.
