Given the growing popularity of Chinese as a second or foreign language acquisition, and the centrality of word order in Chinese grammar in function of information structuring in contrast to word order in English, this book describes and explains Chinese L2 word order errors in adult English-speaking learners, and helps to address them in the Chinese L2 classroom.
