Annotation

This book presents a collection of first-person language acquisition narratives that provide insightful data on the diverse processes and forces defining multilingual (dialect and) language development and maintenance in a single individual. The examined language combinations involve some lesser-known languages from under-researched areas, such as Eastern Europe, the African continent, the Middle East and certain parts of Asia.
