This study exlores the linguistic attitudes of the ‘Dutch’ regarding Dutch and Portuguese language use in the culturally and linguistically complex Carambeí Township, and the Portuguese variety spoken by the Carambeí ‘Dutch’ with regard to the use of strong-R.
