Annotation

This study compares the organization of adults' and children's (aged 7–12) assessment sequences in the assessment phase of a map task. Drawing on Pomerantz's findings for adults in common conversation, this study explores whether the speakers in the examined corpus generate both a first and second assessment and whether a preference for agreement was found.
