Drawing on modern Russian data, this study discusses how an offensive mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law conversation is introduced at a later stage by the complaining offended at an online support group via a special construction with subject ellipsis: thus the offended retroactively and symbolically assaults the offender, and cures face damage.
