Annotation

This paper discusses the possibly conflicting responsibilities of endangered language fieldworkers towards the scholarly community, native speaker sources, and the studied ethnic community. It also addresses the implausibility of truly informed consent and the validity of ethnic community claims on confidentiality agreements.
