Annotation

This study continues Hill’s (2002) analysis of the dominant rhetorical strategies employed to discuss language revitalization projects, in particular with regard to sustained linguistic fieldwork in an indigenous New Mexican Pueblo community. It addressess community language programmes involving indigenous language materials and new ways of confining access to cultural information that have been generated in response to the controversial status of writing in the community.
