Annotation

Whilst discussing the changes in the Yurakaré (Bolivia) color system over the last 200 years, caused by intensive contact with the Spanish language and culture, this study elaborates the new theoretical concept of ‘updating’, demonstrating that different contexts have engendered qualitatively diverging changes to the languages' color system.
