Annotation

This study argues that if the contingency of talk-in-interactional details is dealt with as analytically central, CA studies can still contribute to learning research by recovering the participants' contingent sense-making practices via which the learning task is detected, acted upon, and realized. This statement is illustrated via two examples from English as Second Language (ESL) classroom interaction.
