This study discusses how 20 Chinese English as a foreign Language (EFL) students perceive the strengths and invalidities of native English-speaking (NES) teachers in EFL classrooms. NES-teachers appear to possess the capacities and skills of efficient language teachers, but they still have to surmount some difficulties before they can successfully perform their EFL teaching .
