Annotation

This comparative study of language attitudes towards Hong Kong Cantonese held by Hong Kong Cantonese, Mainland Chinese Cantonese and Mainland Chinese Putonghua speakers, reveals that Hong Kong Cantonese would be more correctly defined as an emerging mid-zone language variety than as a dialect.
