Annotation

This study profiles the multilingual mother-child language use practices of Chinese middle to upper-middle class mothers in Penang (Malaysia), mainly to distinguish the type of language acquisition context met with by the young Penang-Chinese children and to help forecast the language shift pattern occurring in their households.
