Annotation

This study explores to what extent children (of 7 tot 11 years old) reciprocate irony in face-to-face interaction. Children's overall rate of mode adoption, -replying to irony with irony-, turns out to amount to 8.67%, whilst the complimentary irony form appears more difficult to understand.
