K. argues (i) that it is wrong to think of presupposition as something that can be neatly separated from the main sentence; (ii) that the main verb does not alone determine whether the complement is presupposed to be true: mood and the type of complement are also important; (iii) that the class of factive verbs is less uniform than is usually believed.
