This study discusses how a special Web-based corpus, compiled from Web feeds comprising so-called lexical ‘carbon compounds’ (like e.g. carbon credit, carbon diet etc.), is analysed via corpus linguistic methods to examine the online dimension of the interpretative struggle surrounding the matter of climate change mitigation.
