Annotation

This study tries to demonstrate, via a range of examples drawn from an Aljazeera episode, how the juxtaposition of standard Arabic and colloquial Arabic and thus the diglossic code-switching in the Arabic spoken language, can constitute a vehicle for messages that carry rhetorical / metaphorical values.
