Annotation

This study explores the micro-level ideologies of four teachers and broader language ideologies in mainstream Greek schools, accommodating Albanian background children, regarding the children's bilingualism, linguistic diversity, second language learning and minority language maintenance. Teachers’ attitudes could be placed on a continuum ranging from awareness of the importance of bilingualism and minority language maintenance to its absolute rejection.
