Focusing on urban multilingualism in Europe, this study provides crossnational and crosslinguistic perspectives on both the spread and the vitality of immigrant minority languages among primary school children in six multicultural European cities (namely Göteborg, Hamburg, The Hague, Brussels, Lyon and Madrid).
