This paper discusses how subordinate groups, such as minority language users in an Antwerp secondary school, can rejoice and deploy the linguistic possibilities supplied by the unequal structures they live in, for instance by talking broken second language Dutch, in order to fake incapacity or criticize surrounding frames or even classmates.
