Annotation

This study argues that Estonian adolescents differed from their Swedish peers in holding a more negative or neutral stance towards talkativeness. Whilst talking in order to communicate with others dominated in the Swedish answers, Estonians recorded talking as a means of conveying information as frequently as a means of communicating with others.
