This study on perspectivizing for intercultural comprehension examines realistic mechanisms of interlocutors' reflective activities and their communicative efforts that lead to interpersonal and mutual intercultural comprehension. These efforts are considered as functional pragmatic action knowledge embedded in receptive intercultural interaction. The used data are extracted from a study on biographical stories about the East German car, the Trabant.
