Studies on crossing and stylisation among youth in multi-ethnic British urban areas during the 1980s and 1990s, indicated the apparition of new ethnicities with social class underpinnings, and this study points to their enduring significance, considers their place in individual repertories, and tries to solve some of the terminological dispute.
