Annotation

This paper examines how linguistic extremity affects message processing, persuasion, and behavioral intentions. It has been found that intense language has led to accrued attitude—behavior cohesion. It is suggested that one cause for these effects is that linguistic extremity expands message processing, a general precedent to attitude force.
