Annotation

This study addressess the vital role played by Navajo code talkers, recruited by the US Marine Corps during World War II in order to protect the radio-transmitted information between US officers. It discusses similarities and dissimilarities between translation, interpreting and encryption and concentrates on the intersection of code talkers, translators and interpreters.
