After exploring transnational patterns of distribution of Turkish blockbusters, selection and promotion (in Belgium and in Europe), this paper argues that altering circulation patterns and the connected power relations (co-)determine the social and spatial reception conditions, leading to the creation of new semi-public diasporic spaces.
